Best advice about Korea ever

I think it's time to pull this out again.  After I told my 6th grade class that I was moving to Korea, I received this email from a very well intentioned Korean boy.  It is simply epic.

   Dear Ms. Wood,

Hello! Are you prepared for South Korea?

When you prepare, don't forget to prepare what Koreans do. They do a lot
of unusual things.

Here's top 5 of unusual things in middle school students+ ages.

1.Swearing

2.Students go to lots of academies and spend until like 10'o clock,
studying.

3.Violence (they fight A LOT!!! Even I got in a really violent fight once
:))

4.Comparing between A- student and A+ student (for example) and A+ student
will tease A- student (aka show-off :))

5.Eating spicy foods (Korean spicy foods are the most spicy food in the
world! You might sweat when you're eating!)

And I'll show you how to avoid bad things.

Swears

-Ignoring is the best way.

-Reporting whoever did a swear to you.

Violence

-If you're being bullied, gather around some people who trust and like you
and show them that you're not alone.

-Reporting is another choice.

-Talk back (for example, if someone says "You're ugly", say,
"Well guess what. You're not handsome too. If you're handse, your
face has to look nice AND your mind.")

-This is the worst choice. Most Korean kids choose this choice. Fighting
back.

Comparing

-Tell them how painful getting picked is. If that doesn't work, pick them
in a group and they'll know your mind.

-Reporting is not a really good choice. But it still works.

-Ask them a question. "What if I got A+ for the test and you got A-
and you're used to be better than me? What will you say?"

That's pretty much it. But there's one thing left. Spicy foods. When I
first ate a spicy food, when I was 5 years old, i guess, my tongue was
burning to death. So here's the guide to spicy foods. First, don't never
start off with 5 star rated spicy food. The start is most important. I
suggest that you start off with 1 star rated spicy food (the most not
spicy one). If you're brave enough to go on to the next one, try 5 star
rated spicy food right before next level. And when you want to go to 3
star rated, try 5 star rated spicy food and so on. Now you'll get to 5
star rated food. But I suggest that you really shouldn't eat a lot of
spicy foods because eating a lot of spicy foods may cause you diarrhea or
stomachache.

-I hope this works!

-P.S. make someone in your class see this letter if he's getting troubles
with getting swears, being bullied, getting compared, and spicy foods. Of
course only for non-Koreans because Koreans, they know what to do.
